About
Jocelyn Williams is an American mixed-media illustrator based in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her BFA in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, but completed her foundation year at Maine College of Art and Design and spent a semester abroad at Temple University Japan Campus. Much like her list of schools, Jocelyn enjoys making art about many different things. Across her work, she enjoys using different techniques and mediums (combined or by themselves) such as cut paper, gouache, colored pencils, watercolor, gel pens, and whatever else she can find!

My current sketchbook (as of 05/03/2025) is a softcover Strathmore 500 Series Mixed Media Journal. It’s 7.75” x 9.75” with the paper being 90lb. I often use pencil, Prismacolor Col-Erase, Sharpie, Grabie Acrylic Dual Brush Tip Markers, Copics, Pen, and Colored Pencil. Occasionally, I use wet media in this sketchbook such as Liquitex Acrylic Gouache. My sketchbook (and clipboard I often carry around) is home to thumbnails, warm ups, color studies, and most important of all, sketches!
